S’mores + Fireflies

Wow– I haven’t posted anything since back in March! Granted, I know I had taken a break and have not been very active on social media or my Blog, but I didn’t realize it had been this long… but honestly, I’m okay with it!

If you’ve been wondering where the heck I’ve been– why I have not posted very much since early Spring, it’s for several reasons… but the biggest reason being my children! I’ve just wanted to spend more time with them, trying to be more present in their lives, not worrying about needing to bring in more money or making my business more known by constantly having to post. Don’t get me wrong, I still need this side biz to help provide for my family, and I still adore my clients and taking photos of them with their wonderful families– but I was finding that my time was being spent less and less with my family in order to do just that. And I was beginning to feel like I was missed out on too much; it seems it had hit me like a ton of bricks when my youngest, Audrey, was about to turn TWO in April!

Because of this, I’ve made some changes in my business– some big, some small, which I will share in another Post very soon. But I decided to make this business best work for me and my family, while still being able to serve my clients well 🙂 I’m so grateful for all of the understanding and excitement of these changes so far, and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Until the next Post, I wanted to share a personal one with some recent photos of my family spending time in our backyard making s’mores over the firepit while catching fireflies 🙂 Because as I’m sure you agree, it’s the little things in life that bring joy and matter the most…
